Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED, and Supplementary Materials
Course Description
The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
When the Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is taught with the supplementary materials and the certificate is issued along with the course completion card, the course becomes acceptable under State of Connecticut Department of Public Health Child Care Licensing regulations found at Section 19a-79-4a (e) (2) (A) (B) and (C). These regulations outline the minimum level at which a child care program may operate.
